What was your breakthrough moment?
Our breakthrough moment came when we realised the immense potential within our rapidly growing and highly engaged community. With over 500 community builders deeply appreciating the support we offered, it became evident that there was a genuine need for our services. The viral growth of our community underscored this need even further. The pivotal decision to quit my job and transform our humble monthly meetup into a sustainable business was a testament to our conviction that we were onto something significant.
To thoroughly understand our community’s needs, I conducted interviews with 300 members. These insightful conversations illuminated our path forward, enabling us to create and launch more paid offerings. Within just three months of registering The CC as a PTY LTD, we became profitable, thanks to these new paid offerings. Additionally, we discovered an external audience of 7.8k people across social media and our newsletter, achieved with zero marketing spend.
These milestones collectively marked our breakthrough moment, solidifying our belief in the value and impact of our community-focused approach.
